My betta is laying on his side
he not really eating not as lively as when i got him.. but if i move the water around he dose move around a little but he gose right back to the bottom on his side.
Answers:WAIT! DONT FLUSH HIM!! what r you feeding him? is he getting enough ruffage? bettas need to eat algea too! Everyone thinks they will be ok just eating bloodworms and pellets but they need algea to or they get what is called swim bladder disorder. you see the get consipated and dont feel well. first read this web site and see if this looks like your fish: http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/im. then, clean his tank. give him a cooked pea- not hot. He could die from this even if you do every thing. good luck- and i hope that this is what's wrong with him!

He's really not doing too well. He may pull through, but be prepared that he may die.
Unfortunately, he's dying. Sorry! I hope it doesn't drag on too long. Someone told me once that if you put the fish that's dying into very cold water, it will die quickly and less painful. But I don't know how anyone knows what the fish is feeling so I guess it's a matter of what you feel is best.
the betta is going to die on you soon but I would you if it is in a tank with other fish then try and put it by itself.
not much else you can do but wait.
my betta did the same thing, and I knew that his water was too cold for him, so I added warm water to it, and kept my eyes on him, he did recover, they really like warm water, good luck
My fish did that. At first i thought he was dead, but he turned out just to be asleep. However, you might want to see a vet. My pet, though, did the same thing.
I would say try ging with the warmer water . Could make a difference
