Have you checked your water's PH? It may be alkali.

You also need to make sure you have the right balance of bacteria in your tank's system to balance to ecology.

Most likely water quality. The smaller the tank, the more frequently you need to do water changes and change filter materials.

Test for PH, and for Amonia.

guppy pee is toxic to guppys you need to change the water often.
have u used any carpet cleaners or spray's like potpourri near the tank? it can get into the water and poison the fish and they will die.. I had that happen to mine when i used flea powder to try to rid the house of the flea's.every 1 of mine died.. have to be careful of these kinds of things
Many things could be causing it. If its a big fish tank, you need to have air bubbling through it. Also, the tank needs to be cleaned at least once a month because of buildup of algae and different things that dont work well with certain type fish.

And some fish cannot live in the same tank with other fish, make sure they are compatible.

And make sure to feed them on a regular basis.

Look at the fish. Is there any sign of white spots on them? If so your tank has ICK. You need to pick up the medicine and drop it into the tank. If there is no white spots, then try cleaning the tank completely and adding fresh water. The fish should be put in plastic bags with enough of their original tank water to keep them swimming and healthy. Allow the bags to float in the new water for a while until the water temps are equal. Suddenly dropping a fish from warm water to cold CAN shock them enough to kill them. Make sure you clean the rocks and plants too, not just drain and refill the water.
Change your water. Add two drops Ammonia Chloramines Chlorine (Amquel) and a couple of drops of Novagua (Tapwater Conditioner). Available at any good pet store.
water quality, chnge 20 to 25% as soon as possible,As high ammonia levels normally cause sudden death
The water should be 76 to 80 degrees, get some startright add to the water, its a liquid from the pet store or walmart, read the directions and add just a little more than it says for a tank, it will help the fish recover and also take all the bad elements out of the water. If they all die let the tank run for about a week with the startright and try again. They probably won't all die there are many reasons why some fish die, sometimes it can't be helped, I know how you feel, I have a fish tank to and had lots of fish die, they could have been sick from the pet store.Sometimes there old and they just die of natural causes.
It could have been a variety of problems, however I did want to note that you have too many fish in that 10 gallon tank. You want 1 in of adult fish to one gallon of water. Guppys get about 1.5 in, Mollies 3in, swords 2-3 in and Platys 2-3 in.
Get a water quality test ASAP
the water is the problem..
