My pea puffer fish isnt eating, almost dead
I have three pea puffer fish and two of them are good shape and size, but one of them is extreamly thin. When I feed them, I see it take the food in its mouth but spit if back out in a matter of seconds. It does this several times. My other two fish are eating fine. I have fed them frozen bloodworms (as I was told) and I have also tried live bloodworks, flake food, and even tiny shrimp pellets. Any way I can help the little guy?
Answers:I think it may be because his teeth have overgrown to a point at which he cannot get the food past his lips, but I may be wrong.
I have had this happen to some of my puffers in the past but if I were you I would ask your question in a more specific forum. I have provided a link below to one of the best Pea/Dwarf Puffer websites on the net with forums where you can ask owners first hand about what to do.
maybe hes just getting old. or he may have some disease or might not be feelign good. when my fish is sick he doesnt seem really interested in food
