No, don't put him down.. That's so sad.. Is he hurting them? Watch him for some time, and see if he is hurting them. He might just be playing around. If he hurts them then just take him out and put him into a seperate tank/fish bowl.

Don't be concerned. This is perfectly normal behavior in the adolescent Red-bellied Swordfish and will disappear as he matures. If the presence of half-eaten carcasses in your front yard is disturbing, simply lead him to the spot where you would prefer that he dump the carrion.

After sixty or eighty repetitions, he'll eventually get the idea. (Reinforcement in the form of a small 10 pound sledge hammer up top the head is often helpful.) That, or else you will have crinkled his cranium to the point where he couldn't nab the neighbor's Nubian goat if he tried.
