OH DEARmy goldfish flipped out onto the kitchen bench2007-11-24 23:39:36

I had done a water change and was putting her back in..she must of been out for about 4-5 seconds.she seemed okay when i got her in the tank at first but now she is headstanding.doesn't seem to be able to stay horizontal.if you tap the glass she seems to swim though.

You should have a lid on your tank. I had a fish that was standing on his head he stayed upside down for a couple weeks. Not sure why ,but he is fine now. I use to mess with fish tank all the time. changing things & cleaning it . I was loosing alot of fish too! I was told to leave it alone . Now I wacth them & all is well. I clean tank every 3 weeks . Fish are happy & growing every day. good luck.

Leave it alone and never tap on the glass. The sound is magnified and you can shock them.

I came home one day and ours had flipped out of the fish tank and had obviously been out for a few minutes. I put it back in and it was fine.

O Me Goat, what had gotten into U, well, anyway FISH are cheap but tasty these days, just like any other days,previously, anyway,
