Oranda goldfish HELP
My goldfish has been staying in the bottom. Sometimes it lays on its side and sometimes not. Also when it swims it tends to do so in a twisting motion, it only swims for short periods and hasnt been eating at the top like the other ones. Could this be a swim bladder disease? I am going to clean the tank and then add some salt, maybe it will help. Any advice would be great, Im worried about it. Thanks
Answers:your fish has swim bladder disease, clean the tank well, add some salt and try feeding it some peas
i have heard of using epsom salts as a treatment but i have not ever used this
sometimes they recover from this and sometimes they don't
good luck
look at the figure of your fish
is there any iches or fungal diseases found?
if yes.separate your sick fish n treat with ich/ fungal med.
if not, probably yes.bladder still separate n use less water for treatment
all i can say is they can get from the water when they take it in to their body and try to get it out
Try feeding it a shelled pea, then don't feed it for a few days. Also be sure to do regular weekly water changes to keep the water conditions good.
