I have two betta fish, well i had 2 now I just have one because one jut died and the other is starting to die but I don't now why the water is clean but he doesn't want to eat. They ar in seperat vases. Please answer quickly!

New Tank Syndrome

All aquariums/bowls/vases have beneficial bacteria that convert fish waste (ammonia) into nitrites, then other bacteria turn the nitrites into less harmful nitrates. You vases probably did not have sufficient time to develop the bacteria and your bettas suffered from toxic water conditions. Don't clean out the dead bettas vase too thoroughly. Leave it full of water for at least a week so the bacteria can start to grow, then change half of the water and buy a new betta. With the one still alive, stop feeding it and change 25% of the water every day. There is a chance that the necessary bacteria can grow before the water kills him. If he does survive, you can resume feeding him in about three days.

take the fish to your vet or call them asap and ask for advice then get a recconmendation from your vet as to what you should and if you need medicine for the beta fish.

well you need to have one of the plants that they feed of of and if you dont have one feed t from 2 to 3 tmes aday and also swich it into a new vase it might help and make sure it clean with no rocks until it re-covers and feed it 2 pelets the first feeding 1 the next and then between 1 and 2 and if you give it flakes feed it a pinch of flakes but just to make sure call a pet store please try to tell me what happend i really hope this helps you out bye! oh and your soposed to put 1-2 drops of clorine in thats what i did with mine and it lived for 3 years but call a pet shop about that to

both wil die, you cant do anything to stop it. usually fishes show signs of illness may be you failed to notice. :(
