Anyone have any information on them?

Are they hard to clean? It must have a lot of weight when filled-anyone have trouble with that?

Any information would be helpful-I am thinking about one-would like to know the pros and cons before I decide to buy.

Hey, i Have installed two of these in former houses I owned. wall tanks are incredible, they are very elegant, and extremly relaxing, but let me tell you, you are in for some serious work. First of all you have several differnt things to think about. Number one thing is the structure of the wall you want to stick it in. if your tank isnt to terrble wide, this shouldnt be a problem. but if your tank is 2.5 feet or bigger, you are going to HAVE to completly re-enforce your wall with a firm header (2x10s or 2x12' structure replacing your studs) since you are going to be removing support studs from your wall to put this in, you will have to re-enforce it since your wall holds your roof.

Next, you have your thickness. you can get 6'' thick aquariums, or get your standards that are 1.5' thick or wider. with the standards you will have to build some sort of holder for it that sticks out of your wall, like a super shelf, since your walls are no thicker than 6'' at best.

the thin ones I personally think look tacky. there is no depth, and you see through it like a window, half the time you wont notice the fish.

Build this somewhere near a water source (a kithchen sink or bathroom) then buy a plummed aquarium suker/filler. you will need it, because removing this tank to clean it is not happening. then, make SURE you use green back (water resistant) dry wall above the tank. fish tanks are warm, and they have a lots of moisture coming from them, the will warp you walls.
