Call your local pet store for the best advice on this. I would think separating it from the other fish would be a good idea -- so that the other fish dont eat the young once they hatch.

Bettas don't get pregnant. Ever. The male literally squeezes the eggs out of the female, and fertilizers them. The eggs are then put in the male's bubblenest by the male. A healthy female always has eggs ready, and doesn't need to ever mate. A female ready for mating is not much larger than one who has mated. (A novice breeder often can't tell.)
