What is the best fish for us to get, there is an 18, 14 and 38 year old in our house, but no room, so what is the best fish to get?

how big will ur tank be? if smaller than 5 gal a betta, if bigger and with a filter then something like guppys or mollies

Definitely the Betta. They are low maintenance, don't require a water filter, and can live in a very small space. Your pet store will have everything you need, and the fish guys are usually very knowledgeable.

i suggest either a goldfish or betta since they dont need filtration or air pumps. Goldfish do well in a community, like more than one, but if you prefer to keep just one fish, go for a male betta, since they are very very pretty and has rich colors, and are easy to take care of. Or you can have a few fantail goldfish, because they are very cute and also easy to take care of.

Try a beta or a goldfish for a starter fish. Both are pretty low maintance. My beta is about 3 years old now.

I have 1 fish, he is a betta, a male betta, they are beautiful and don't take up much space. You cannot put male Betta's together and do not put females with them. Just one male betta that is what I would get if I were you. Mine is healthy and very friendly with me. He loves being all by himself. Get one male betta, you will be happy you did.

Well, a beta kills everything. A goldfish dies. A guppy has a short life. Tuna is already dead. And the African Frogs live for like ever. Get an African Frog from the mall when the guy tells you they should live for two years. (mine's been alive for eight now)

a beta fish..they're Chinese fighting fish so only get one or they'll fight to the death.if you put one by a mirror then they have like a flap thing and it puffs out its really cool..

Betta fish, just get a small bowl and they will do fine. Just don't get bettas fish together they will attack eachother.

Got no room? Try Betta, Paradise Fish, or Dwarf Gourami. No need for much space, water filter and aerator. They're labyrinth fish so they can breathe air directly from the water surface. Just keep them as LONE inhabitants of any fish tank. They tend to be aggressive towards any tank mate, especially the betta fish.
