hehe @ everyone sucking hoses and getting mouth fulls of water! everything said so far's right - easiest way is with a pipe/hose, get one slimmer than your smallest fish, although the thicker the tube the faster the flow will be. submerge the whole tube, wiggle it a little until most of the air is out. whilst its still underwater cover one end of the tube with your thumb so the hole is entirely blocked, then, ensuring the other end of the tube stays in the water all the time and your thumb stays put, take the end you're holding and place it in a sink/bucket which is lower than the water level in the tank, release your thumb and WHOOSH you're draining the tank :)
Pump the water out of the tank, with a pump, you could hire one.
use a syphon and connect it on a sink
