Yes, definately quarantine your fish. Black Moores are part of the goldfish family and are a coldwater fish. When you get them during the summer, the warm water they're typically raised in (and shipped in) makes them more likely to get a fungus. Mardel is a company that makes very good fish medications and I would invest in some fungus solution.

It is probably ich.If you have an aquarium heater turn it up til the water is about 78 degrees.Put a little salt in the tank and in about 5 to 8 days it should be cured.Also there is ich medication you can buy at the store.

Sounds like Ick. That is the name of a fungal condition fish can get. Go to your local Pet Store. They will be able to recommend a remedy for you.

I work at a fist store. It sounds like a classic fungal infection. Ich is little round perfect white spots. You need to treat your whole tank with and antifungal/antibacterial combination medication, if you want anything in there to survive. You can purchase this at your local fish store.

its ick..raise the water temp., put aquarium salt in there, and buy ick medicine which should clear it up pretty well within a couple days..you can quarentine him but i really dont find it necessary whenever i get ick in my tank..the medicine cures it pretty quick and ive never had a fish die from it
