What kind of Fish do you have in with your Angels2007-11-24 23:42:20

I have used clown loaches for bottom feeders and always keep at least one plecostomus for algae control.

I have been able to keep scooling fish, such as neon tetras with angelfish as well, as long as you have a decent sized school (10-12)

I have never had any luck putting any fish with angels. All the angels I have ever had were very aggressive to the other fish.

freshwater Angelfish? I think someone else thought you meant saltwater Angels.

Angels are only agressive when they are mating. For this reason, I only have one in my tank. I also have a spotted Ralphael Catfish (who lives inside the castle and only comes out at night), one black Molly, two Glass Catfish, three Zebra Danios, and two Bloodfin Tetras. They all have been in the same tank for three years now, and they get along just fine.

I'd keep it a species only tank if you can. Those angels are evil!

We had angels and did fine with a placo and school of clown loaches. but everything else in the tank? beat up on a regular basis. they killed our graumies, rainbow fish and bala.

I had neon's 2 huge plecos and a couple of boring brown fish called graham and Nigel in with my 4 huge angels and they all seemed to get on together ,and I am not a fish expert in any way what so ever ! I just threw them all in and they survived

I have angel fish in with clown loaches and plecs the angels dont seem to bother thembut we had two coradoras and the angel fish killed them it is all trial and errorwith fish
