What kind of fish is best for me? I am only 12 years old, in school, but seem to have enough time on my hands to take care of pets. Are beta fishies good? What else are good?

I think a beta would be a great first fish. Remember the males have to be kept in a tank by themselves. There are so many different colors to choose from. Enjoy!

not to much care in them either make sure hes got clean water. hes feed every day and has a plant or two to munch one.

coz the equipments can costs heaps depending on the fishes.

the tough fishies like your fighting fish, kois and goldies are easy to take care of coz they require little attention. But since you said you've got time, how about those bigger varieties?
