Here is a good compatibility chart. You can follow the site through to see pictures of the fish as well. Chose what you like rather then depending on others' opinions
A
black mollies or neons
You can keep any community fish with guppies. Examples are Swordtails, platties, neon tetras, zebra danios, black tetras, .
Remember that size does matter you should not put a fish that is less than 3/4 the size of the largest fish in the tank. Use live plants, plastic plants, Rocks, pieces of slate to create hiding. If you have fancy guppies you do not want to put plain guppies in the tank. A female guppy can give birth many time with one encounter of a male. I like to put schooling fishes in a display tank. I like zebra danios because they will school near the top of the tank. I also line neon tetras because the school at the bottom of the tank (be careful because neon's are small fish)
neons or mollies work well together.
Try getting calico goldfish they are pretty and dumb so they wont try eating your guppies and the liven up your tank, also you can get a sucker fish they are shy, and clean just make sure you have a hiding place for it. Good luck
You can pretty much mix any sort of fish you want with a guppy; just make sure that they aren't too much larger than the guppies because they'll eat them. Aggressive smaller fish may be a problem, too, as they might want to shred fins.Other than that, you're good to go! lol.
Goldfish. crackers.. lol
i dunno for sure but my old teacher had guppies with fantails and all these other fish, i think you can put any fish in there , have they no relation to being super hungry or carnivourous (basically anything but a pirahna or a VERY hungry, carnivourous and with fangs fish) . hope this helped! but dont listen to me, cuz im not SUPER sure, but im pretty sure.
Well, you could keep just small, tropical fish would be fine.like, Platy's, molly's, swordtail's, tetra's, etc. I had all of those once in my tank. Now I just have a 10 gallon tank with just guppies, and the catfish and the algae eater. Then I have a 38 gallon tank with Striped Convicts. But I would like to get back to buying tropical fish again real soon!
anything that wont bully them, nip at them, or eat them. Ask your pet stores for more help. Neon tetras should be fine. Mabey some glass fish, or a betta? and yes, bettas can be kept with most fish. i have mine with a gourami, and glass fish.
catfish, gold fish, sucker fish, bluegills, and no bass.
we have guppies in with gold fish and one simes fighting fish as well as a placastamas. i should also mention that the tank is a 66 gallon tank
