What to put with a gourami

I have a gourami with a red-tailed shark and a small catfish. The gourami seems to have killed off the other two gouramis I had over the weekend. What other kind of fish would go well with a gourami?
Answers:Try putting in other semi-aggressive fish. Like:
Rainbow sharks
Albino Rainbow sharks
Giant Danios (schooling so you'll have to get 3 or more)
Silver Dollars (also schooling)
Tiger Barbs (schooling 4-5)
Albino Tiger Barbs (schooling 4-5)
Green Tiger Barbs (schooling 4-5)
Silver-tip Shark
etc etc
Dwarf gouramis are a lot easy going then the larger ones. Considering what you have in your tank, I would suggest tetras, or swordtails. Here is a compatibility chart
