A lot of people will say bettas and goldfish,and all sorts of colourful and visually appealing to the eye fish but in all my years of fish keeping I have never experienced from any other fish the way my 2 Albino Oscars know when they are being fed, watch me from their 4 and a half foot aquarium and will let me stroke the top of their heads and their sides as if they love it, not to mention the way they actually let me hand feed them , its fcuking amazing and I love it. They are 6 inches long , I have them about a year, I bought them for 10 euro each when they were about 1.5 inches long.. a fcuking bargain for the amount of fun me and my 6 year old daughter get out of them, they are plain and simply the most intelligent fish I ever had, and my favourite,

My absoule FAVORITE Fish is the "black skirt tetra" its so beatuifull, and they are really really strong, promise you that they wont die less than a year if you take good care. I love mine i got 4 and ones pregnant.

simple ole goldfish. they r the easiest to care for and they live forever. not only that but they actually have personalities and can b petted and i name mine . have 13 in a pond on my porch

I don't know an English term :( but it's black, small and it has eyes like binoculars.. They are very cute.. :)

i love the green spotted puffer fish absolutely a fresh water fish, peaceful, you can put them with other fish, and very cute, beautiful, and majestic in the water you can gt them at walmart and places like that. I suggest the green spotted puffer fish i can guarantee you wont be disappointed.

I LOVE angelfish.. although finiky there so pretty and it seems as they have there own personality, I guess they all do. I also love my betta but hes VERY boring. lol

Arowana. They just look soo cool.

Marine aquariums are the way to go. The fish are so much more colorful and interesting. All of mine are my favorite. I have a puffer, some damsels, a half-moon angelfish, a seahorse, some urchins, and my daughter's clown fish, "Nemo".
