Where to buy undergravel aquarium heater in SF bay area
Hi, are there any stores in the San Francisco bay area where I can buy an undergravel heater for an aquarium? I have seen some online stores, but am looking for something local.
Answers:I live in the North Bay, and I worked at one of the largest aquarium stores in that region. We never had any undertank aquarium heaters, which leads me to believe they are not that popular for one reason or another. Is there a specific reason you do not want a regular heater in your tank?
I haven't seen them in any of the stores in other areas either (I've been to many stores in San Francisco and a few in the East Bay). Your best bet would probably be to order one online if you really want one. You might try looking on eBay, as I have found some good deals on there for aquarium equipment.

you usually can make an undergravel heater but it's risky where it might electrocute your fish.
there's no advantage to having an undergravel filter anyway.
