Which Size tank do I need2007-11-24 23:43:03

make sure you put heaps of plants in the tank if you are going to get a big tank but if you get a small tank dont make it too crowded though.

Today? a 24 or 36 inch tank, eventually, a 5-6 foot by 16+inch tank, as your goldfish will get to 12 inches.

I am curious as to the other 3 fish, but if they are cold water chances are they will match the gold fish, so best bet is to buy big now to save trouble later or build a pond :)

1 gallon of water per fish at least.
20g or 30g will do it. I do not know what you would mean by "size in inches or centemeters please not in volume", but if you are talking about the footprint then I would gather a guess of 12X24.
I would opt for a 36" tank (3 foot) as Its most commonly available and a good reasonable size to accomodate what you have. If the fish get any bigger (and goldfish can get quite large) you need to really think about uprating not only the tank but the filters, maybe even to move them into a pond

Hope it helps
