There was a woman in Russia years ago who had 64 kids (not all singles--mainly sets of twins and triplets). She'd probably qualify. Although if I won the lottery, I bet all of my great-great-grandfather's kids would come out of the woodwork (he had 17 kids, and they all bred like rabbits).
cant remember the names but there is a family in india who are a total of 174 - and they all live in the same village next to each other !
when you say family - it has a very wide meaning. take into account, my father's siblings, my mothers siblings and their children / grandchildren - i myself have about 78 family members - that does not even include my husbands' side of the family !
