They have never done this before and now constantly hang around the top of the tank blowing bubbles. I haven't done anything different than i nomally would with them.

Could the water be lacking in oxygen? Have you checked your water pump and filter lately?
they're either hungry or have too much water
something special is coming up. i dont know what it is. but animals feel special stuff coming up good or bad so they are tryin to tell u something. i hope its something good.
Check your aerator. They may be trying to get to the surface where the oxygen levels are higher.
wat are u feedin them? their stomach is upset!
Fish do this when their water is not being aerated enough.
Does your tank have an air pump of some type. An undergravel filter would be a quick fix.
You should install a platform at the level of the water surface. It appears as if your goldfish are evolving into land animals.
Look for fine fur especially under the pectoral fins. Thats a sure sign.
