Why are people killing sting rays to get revenge for the Crocodile hunter2007-11-24 23:43:48

I liked him too, but killing innocent stingrays??

They are idiots! Australia Zoo have released statements that they do not support this sort of behaviour and that Steve would be upset by these peoples actions.

The stingray was only protecting itself against what it saw as a threat

because they're idiots.. Right after JAWS came out people went on a shark killing frenzy. Sharks are also FAR from dangerous.. you're allot more likely to be killed on your way to the ocean than by a shark..people are stupid.heck you think that's weird? Read up on "the burning times"..too bad no one kills stupid people huh?

I dont know with them, you know they shouldnt kill sting rays, they dont know what is right from what is wrong. They should be the one to forgive, because I know that Croc Hunter is with God and living in peace with all the knowledge that he has shared to us.

First of all they're not sure if the rays are being killed for revenge or out of fear from the recent publicity. Fisherman who before would let them out of their nets may be a little scared now and try to kill them before getting near. And of course you have dumb as$es in any place at any given time.

I don't know, I guess some people are just idiots. I know the Crocodile Hunter would be very upset if he knew what they were doing to the poor innocent Stingrays and I'm sure he wouldn't blame the poor Stingray that killed him for thinking it had to defend itself against him.

Where the heck did you hear that? I do hope you just made that up. Steve Irwin wanted people to love stingrays- which is why he wanted to show them up close.Clearly people who would ever do such a thing, never truly understood him and his mission. He said so himself that whenever an animal hurt him, he was the one who made a mistake. Just the other day I cleaned our favorite beach with my kids and one of our neighbor kids.because trash (old nets, plastic bags, bottles.etc) can kill these precious animals. Steve wanted people to learn more about these ocean creatures, so they would start caring about them.not the opposite.

Because People are morons. I used to have stingrays in my aquarium and I was never stung. They're beautiful creatures, just stay away from their tails
