Watch carefully from a distance and see if you can spot the terrorist chasing.

Water quality is a remote possibility, are you doing your regular (weekly) partial (25-30%) water changes to keep the ammonia, nitrites and nitrates at or near the 0 range?

Your fish may just be a jumper.
It would be helpful to know what type of fish they are. One reason for them to be jumping could be the nature of the fish themselves. Another reason would be caused by aggression from other fish make their tankmate to jump to escape the 'bullies'.
Have you checked your water quality?

Just because the tank looks clean doesn't mean the water isn't toxic. The most important tests in a new tank are ammonia, nitrIte, and pH.

Here's a good article on what happens in a new tank and how to keep the water from getting toxic while your biofilter bacteria get up to speed.

What kinds of fish are doing the jumping?

maybe your fish are just not used to that spot and it could be that they don't like the tank or are just starting to get a little to big for it or you need to clean the tank or the temp is too cold or warm because sometimes those water filters can be be wrong.
best answer i've seen yet was a jumper and a lid,you never said what kind of fish that means a lot, some are just natural jumpers like a lot of sharks are!
