Why is Hikari micro pellet fish food difficult to find now2007-11-24 23:43:19

I have been trying to find where I can buy Hikari micro pellet tropical fish food, it seems to be very difficult to find now, any ideas why?

And if you are able to buy it please can you tell me where? I am in UK.

Answers:

Imports of Japanese fish foods were stopped by the EU due to import regulations which weren't recognised by Japan.

As a result many suppliers stocks of Hikari fish food were depleted. Imports have started again, but will it will take a while for all shops to obtain supplies again.

I have noticed this also, i have brought mine off ebay, imported from the US, costs a bit more but our fish are worth it, right?

That and the fact they are fussy gits who wont eat anything else now!

Try Ebay or some online stores.

if you find a supplier, buy loads like i did..

hi i live in leeds and i buy it for my fish and you can get it from Pet and Garden world in Armley . they stock most stuff though its quite expensive.
