Answers:They most certainly will. If you have several color variations, let them breed and see what you get. People have experimented with platies for many, many years to create the colors now available. Since these are for your personal tank then mix them with whatever you like. I have lots of platies and swordtails and over the years, I've come up with many types of color variations. It is a very fun hobby! Enjoy!
Yup. This is not recommended as it causes impure breeds. Platies inter breed with sword tails which is less recommended as it weakens both species.
