i have 2 goldfish ina tank if they lay eggs is it okay if i dont take the eggs out and leave them together with their parents?

Answers:

It really depends on whether or not you want to keep the babies and how big of a tank you have. In limited space, they will eat the eggs and/or the babies if you leave them in there, but that won't hurt your two goldfish. If you have a large tank with enough coverage, you may not need to move them. If you want to keep them and you have a smally tank, you'll need to set up an incubation tank. Be aware that even if you do this, the success rate is often low for breeding goldfish in captivity (especially in small tanks).

It is ok but eventually your gold fish will eat their fry
Duh goldfish do not lay eggs silly..they are born alive.
NO you should take out the eggs and put them in another tank, because after some time fishes starts eating their own eggs. change the tank of fish
It's OK for the parents. (cavier!)

Spawning can result in ammonia spikes, so check your water quality and do a partial water change. Congrats on having spawning goldies, they must be quite happy.

leave it to natures way
