I have a 55 gal tank with one 60 power whisper and one 45 power whisper filter. in the tank is a oscar, pleco, and a blood red parrot fish. All fish are fine with eachother and none fight. I WANT TO KNOW IF I CAN PUT FISH IN THE TANK. IF SO WHAT KIND? all fish are about 2 inches.

No. You're really already overstocked. One oscar should be alone in a 55 gallon tank. Ok, just saw they're only 2 inches. Start saving for at least a 75 gallon tank-for the near future-oscars grow fast. Then they all should fit in there fairly well, then use your 55 gal for other fish. Still wouldn't add anything else right now though. Also, consider getting a canister filter in addition, much better with oscars. Here's a link for forums for oscars and bp's. Good sites with lots of good info on their care. Also, the first link is an article about stunting fish growth with photos by keeping them in a small overcrowded tank.

You have too many fish as it is. 55 gallons isn't enough for 1 oscar. Now you have a pleco and a parrot. Your fish are going to outgrow your tank very rapidly. My oscar is in a 35 gallon tank and he needs at least twice that. Plus, the pleco can grow to be quite large as well. I have seen them grow to be 10 - 12 inches. The only kind of fish I would add to your tank are feeders. Other than that, and it will be like a new york city subway during rush hour in there. I hope that helps.
