Answers:The general rule of thumb is 1 inch of fish for every gallon water. It sounds like your tank would be OK, but I don't know the full size of your fish to be sure. It also depends of whether or not a particular fish is very aggressive. Make sure your tank is heavily planted so that the danios have some space to escape the sharks!
Silver sharks grow to 14" & need tanks over 6' long. Blue gouramis get to 5" & can get aggressive.
Your tank is 24" long & can hold 24" of small fish at their adult sizes if you work on surface area so the danios fully stock it on their own as they grow to 2" each.
Six danios & three corydoras catfish would make for a more interesting tank.
