introducing female Betta's i have 3 and a 10 gallon tank best way to introduce them? and yes it ca be done with females

Just put them in at the same time. If the fighting gets to be too much, reach in and rearrange your tank. They ill be too busy checking out the new surroundings to fight.

I would just feed the ones currently in the tank and add the new one after eating is done. Full tummies make fish less aggressive.

The best way to introduce any aquatic life into a tank is to move around any decor that is in your tank that way any territory that may have bee established by the old fish has now been eliminated. Also you are going to want to feed the old fish before you introduce the new fish.

Females will not fight. They are not aggressive like their male counter part. But the bigger the tank the better. You should have a tank that holds one inch of fish per gallon. Females are about 3in so that's a 9 gallon already.

start by placing the container that contains the bettas in the tank , let the water that there in reach the temp of the tank this should take bout an hour then slowly poor the fish into the tank wit hthe other fish , u can house several female s to gether with little or no problems , but u canyt house 2 males in the same tank without some reprocution
