I would recommend at least 5 gallons of water for a goldfish. If you are wanting to stay small, get a Betta. They can be very hardy if you are careful not to overfeed it and they are quite happy in small containers

if it just one that is fine, do not over feed it though , you will just have more problems on your hands. you can add an airstone with an air pump that will help you out alot
No, goldfish need large tanks with excellent filteration and frequent water changes. They are very messy fish with a large bio-load. They will suffer and be painfully stunted in a small bowl or tank. Fancy goldfish should grow to the size of a grapefruit. And commons or comets will reach over a foot in length.
DONT CLOSE THE PLASTIC CONTAINER. Keep it open. Its not the best place to put your fish in there permanently.
no
put water in first
ya put them in anything islong as they have water
as long as you have a filter
no
That should be fine if container hold at least 1 gallon per inch of fish. Has not been in contact w/ chemicals.

It is not all that nice , but workable (would you want to live in a room the size of your hall closet ? )

sure as long as theres enuff room for him to swim around
