its breathing but sinking. =[ to the bottom of my tank =[

is it dead?

Answers:

If its breathing .it isn't dead. If it swims around every so often.fighting to get to the top and then when it finally reaches the top, floats back down to the bottom.it is almost certainly dying. There is nothing you can do .just watch it. When it is dead it will stop breathing and its colors will fade after a while.

It's not dead til it floats on the top. I had to watch a neighbor's fish and was horrified to see one of them propped up on the side. The other fish had gored holes into it. It was horrible.

Well if he is breathing he is still alive, but I think he maybe sick or dying.

no its just playing dead you should call your local pet store and find out whats rong whith it.

definetly dieing but try doing a 50 percent water change and go to the petstore and get some medecation it may save him
