is there any way to keep my fish from growing so big2007-11-24 23:37:48

i have two angle fish and they grew so big that they ate all my smaller tiny fish like the neon tetras

Answers:

Fish will only grow as large as their enviorment allows.

You should keep those kinds of fish away from the angel fish.

A different tank or a divider in the one you have should do it.

I had that problem, You just can't put other fish in with them, Angle fish are Beautiful alone.
do some research
keep it in a small tank and it wont grow
Angelfish are a type of cichlid, which is generally an agressive or semiagressive fish. It is in their nature to attack smaller fish. You should only put larger non agressive fish in there with them.
The bigger the tank, the larger the fish grow.
Maybe do your research on the fish you purchase.

People will tell you to buy a smaller tank, but that is inhumane for the fish. They require a certain size.

maybe look to purchase larger fish that are compatible with the angel fish. Talk to a person at the aquarium about the different fish that you can add to your tank.

Good luck!!

Frequent the feeding time
You can always eat them.

No, Angel fish are actually a predator fish, they will always eat smaller fish.
