It takes a lot to starve fry. You should prepare some green water while conditioning the parents ( a container of pond water with a handful of finely shredded grass left at room temperature will promote the growth of insofuria, a minute organism that can barely (if at all) be seen. Add a few drops a day for maturing fry.

You can also boil an egg yolk in water, blend the result and feed a couple of drops of that. In ten days to two weeks they are large enough to eat frozen baby brine shrimp.

same thing happened with my guppies, is your tank big enough? did you feed them nice pellets (not flakes, flakes dirty up tank and make them lose coloring) were they used to the tank or were they nervous? could have died from too much nervousness..I dunno

Each one should be in its own separate tank, and you feed them betta food, a small amount only once or twice a day. Make sure the water is the right temperature and treated with that stuff that takes the chlorine out.
