please help me what should i do. it seems that only my snail is eating it

Answers:

Does he usually eat it and just won't right now, or does he never eat it. Ours loves the stuff. Maybe he just prefers to suck up the flavor nuggets in the bottom of the tank, or he likes to wait for the discs to get soft.

Buy a piece of zuccini and slice it in half down the middle. The take one of those halves and cut it down the side lengthwise. Wrap a rubberband around it and attach it to a rock. Drop it in and relax. It will be fine.

Do the discs disappear? If so, he is probably eating them after you turn out the lights. Plecs are nocturnal by nature and usually feed at night unless they are very accustomed to you feeding the other fish. I assume you have other fish in the tank. If so, he is making a living eating the leftovers from whatever you are feeding the others. Plecs are very opportunistic feeders and will eat whatever is available.

Mine are out all the time and eat whatever I throw in the tank. Flakes, pellets, discs, but they do like zucchini. I thin slice the zucchini and par-boil it so it will sink on its own. Then I freeze it on a cookie tray and put the pieces in a zip-lock bag to keep in the freezer for snacks at any time.

Seperate the snail and the pleco, and actually try different brands of pleco food. Also keep the tank warm, so algae will grow in it. Pleco's natural food is algae, but meanwhile, during the wait for it to grow, feed your pleco different brands of wafers.

He's probably working on the Algae that is currently in your tank. DO NOT WORRY! They are hardy fish that can go a long time without feeding (I'm talking 30 days with no food if they had to).
