It's an algae bloom, check this site out to see what causes it and how to get rid of it. http://www.drhelm.com/aquarium/cloudy%20.

mold, algae
I don't know, but try getting one of those sucking fish..They eat the algae off of the glass, and it really helps.
Algae. If it is in direct sunlight this is why it i happening.
cuz your fish are tropical
If its algae you get some anti - algae from the pet shop, if its the water im not sure never had that, had my tropical fish for 3 years.

ask at your nearest pet shop they should know.

um.. are you serious? It's called algae, how did you pass middle school? LOL JK, but you should buy some saltwater snails or algae killers for the tank. Plus you have to clean it very well so the algae doesn't come back as fast, buy a water vaccum online or from walmart to cut your cleaning tasks
Needs more light, give it a good clean and put in some algae control solution, you get it from AQUARIUM SHOPS.
Yup, it's algae bloom.
it' probualy mold or alage.
It sounds like you are getting direct sunlight on your tank; see if this complies with the area where the green is. I am not sure but florescent lighting may also cause algal buildup. You know, there'd be a pattern adhering to the area getting the most light. You can take a razor blade and scrape on the class inside of the tank and see if it is algae. It has never bothered me too much; I just clean it so that I can see my fish and let it be. But, I am sure that there are many remedies.
it is the light which causes the growth of algae and blanketweed. Use algae eating fish and put more plants in the tank.
It's probably algae but it's always good to check your filter over and replace or clean any sponges. Your filter sponges may need to be replaced so are working the oppisite effect.
