my goldfish has a dark red spot on its head ..i change its water regularly and feed her well..i don't know what seems to be the problem?

I would talk to a vet specializing in Fish. Petstores are very often ill-informed, and pass on bad information. Talk to people who are trained in health of fish for the best information.

Hmm maybe hole in the head?? Hole in the head is a commen disease fish get. They have treatments for it at the pet store. I would go down there and explain it to the people in the fish department and let them get you the little pills that you drop in the water for it.

hhhmmmm?? im not shure if it could just be a color change? probably not. I would take her to a petstore and ask for their advice.(take a water sample too). I found a website that could help. some kinds of goldfish grow these on their heads when they start to get bigger, if thats the case it will get bigger as the fish gets bigger, if you know the speices of the fish look it up for pictures.
