whats wrong with my betta fish2007-11-24 23:42:45

he has something kinda located where a neck would be and he has new little fins or whisker looking fins growing from under and it looks like two balls what is it is it pregnant?

Sounds like a parasite. Get some medication form your petstore designed for parasites. HE is not pregnant..

don't know what to say..go to a fish expert, you should beable to ask someone at any pet store. you could go back to where you bought it!

I'm a betta expert so i would know it sounds kinda like a parasite and kinda like its giving birth go see someone at a proffesional animal store petsmart or petco or wereever you bought the fish. Is the fish a male or female females are generally smaller if it is a female and is pregnant get another fish tank or baby tank. that way the adult betta won't kll it (it will do that) and then go with it if its a parasite get mediation (i suggegest you take the fish with you to the store best luck :)
