Anyways!! to be serious *ahem*! depends on which breed of guppies you are looking at! fancy tail guppies don't get any brighter with age they just stay with whatever color they were born with :)

Even if you were to feed them spirulina tablets (which they all claim that it helps with color) their colors will STILL not change .. it's just the way they are but if they are just regular guppies then don't expect much of a light show out of them :)

One of the reasons why you might think that some guppies seem to be brighter colored than others is because of the type of bulb people use in their slightly larger aquariums which show other light spectrums making it very fancy 'n pretty :) trust me i was also all gagga about them before too :)

It depends on the breed. Dalmatians will get darker spots. Any breed that is supposed to have spots, they won't be fully colored until about 6 weeks (the age they are allowed to be sold at) And they all start being mature at 8 weeks (that's when most dogs are potty trained)

haha what a retard. it says guppies!! not PUPPIES. yes their colours will get brighter, often depending on what species they are. females will always remail dull while the males can be a whole rainbow of colours

With the females, they either have little or no color except grey. Young males look like females, when there older, they get pretty colors like their parents. (males anal fins are pointed, females are in a fan shape)
