That's just cruel. plain and simple. How would you like to live in a little closet and only see someone for a couple minutes here and there and not eat on the weekends and have stuffy air to breathe? I think you'd die of depression and so would the fish.

Bettas should not be placed in places where it is restrictive. Given males are agressive they are still living things and deserve much better conditions than that. Plus, my locker is currently filled with food, where would anyone with a food locker place a betta?

They cost anything from 2 dollars for a female Betta to however much is the max.. a normal male betta is around 3 or 4 dollars.

well,it probably wouldn.t die,because thwey have all the oxygen they need in the water.but it would probably go mad from the darkness.my betta fish(when i had one) cost about 12$
