when ur doing a sport (horse) like jumping when do u know a horse has heart or just in general

Answers:

When they dig down for that little extra even though they are tired, or unsure or even hurting to get you through whatever it is that you are asking of them. It is an intangible, something you can't quite measure just by looking at them but when they have it it is priceless.

you know a horse has heart when the jump that's coming up is not exactly what you anticipated, perhaps even the approach was wrong and your horse still goes for it keeping you safe all the way. When you have a horse that doesn't look twice and goes for it..he's got heart. That's a keeper!
