We are selling my 3 yr old QH gelding in a couple months. He is FULLY trained and been shown 7 times placed in 5. His bloodlines are greeat = ] [[Ima Big Leauger and Conclusive. ]]

We aren't going to sell him imeadiatly but in a couple months after we show him some more. His sire is gelded now. = /

I was wondering how much you think he would be worth. Should we do anything more with him??

Answers:

It depends on his training and how bomb-proof he is. If he is really good I would say around 3500 to 5000. If he is a champion show horse you could get a lot of money. Pick up your local HORSETRADER and see what people are selling their horses for and compare your horse to their description.

Also does he let you do anything to him? Does he bite? Does he let you touch him anywhere? Does he let you clip him? Is he good with the farrier? Does he stand still when you are working on him? Does he get along with other horses? Does he have problems like cribbing, biting wood, wing sucking? Etc.

It doesn't matter what he is trained to do or how he is registered. It is important on how well he does what he was trained to do. The height doesn't matter. The color doesn't matter. It doesn't matter on what type of shows he has been in. Unless he is in horse shows where he is winning big money, then you can sell him for a lot of money. He is only 3 years old and he might still have vices. But it really does depend on the horse.
