How much money is it to lease a horse
I plan on leasing one when i get older and i am saving money so I want to know how much it will cost for boarding and feed and the horse., because i am saving money for it.
Answers:It depends on the horse, the owner, and what kind of lease you are doing. Do you want a full lease, half lease, or quarter lease?
Obviously a full lease can get pretty expensive--ussually from $350- $500.
A half lease is ussually about $250
and a quarter lease about $200 ish
It also depends if you make an agreement to work off part of the lease. I recently found a great deal for a horse lease that was only $100 a month for 2-3 rides per week. I would also be cleaning out stalls which would make it $80 a month.
Also make sure you know who is responsible for the vet , ferrier, etc.
-Best wishes!
you have to search some people lease them for free and others lease them for $100-$1000 my friend is leasing a horse for free for 5 years and he is well triand too.
If you are only leasing a horse you should not have to pay for board and feed. Depending on the training that the horse has the price will vary. Just check out some stables around your area and ask people if they know anybody that has a horse up for lease and ask them how much it would cost. Good luck.
It depends on what lease you agree to and WHO you lease from... It can differ quite a bit depending on whether or not you lease from an independant owner or a barn (such as a lesson horse) But I'll tell you what I've seen it priced at most places.
