Im going to start showing hunter/jumper in IHSA, am I missing anything on this list

Okay, here's what I have so far (starting at head)...

IRH ATH helmet

Hair net

White show shirt (with 2 interchangeable collars)

Dark blue jacket

Black crochet riding gloves

Dark tan jodphurs

Used black tall boots

Boot socks

Boot pull-on thingies

Boot pull-off thingy

Anything else?

Collar pin?

Is it okay to wear earrings?

Boot polish/ other care stuff (suggestions appreciated)?

You can wear earrings although at many local shows I have rarely seen people doing so. I've heard from some top competitors that they swear by a lucky pair of pearls or something absurd on the other hand! If you do wear them, go for something classic and subtle like small diamond studs or pearls. Nothing too big or over 1/2 carat. I also wear a small dress watch with a leather band, it sits under my sleeve but I always want to know the time...

Stock Pin is a nice finishing touch, even on a choker collar/collar neck "show" shirt. (not called a ratcatcher, despite postings I've read on this forum)

Polish is of utmost importance. I probably only think this because I'm married to a military officer but we are religious about polish. If you live near an urban area (like New York City or Stamford, CT) there are a great number of shoe polishers who will give you a nice spit shine for $5-$10. I also find most airports have them too.
