Im looking for a horse name2007-11-24 21:17:36

I know there are tons of these listed on here, but I am having a seriously hard time trying to name this horse. So I thought I'd give you all the chance to help me out. Maybe I'll get lucky and like one of your suggestions.

The horse is a 3 year old, black, 16.1 hand, Belgian/Morgan cross. For the most part she has a fairly laid back attitude, but she can get a little snorty at times due to her age. Every one that sees her compares her to Black Beauty because she's so big and black and has a large white star just like the horse from the movie.

Right now the horse's name is Buttercup, and I HATE it. Her new name doesn't need to be flashy or a show name. It needs to be one word, and preferably one to three syllables. I was kind of leaning towards the name Kaya (pronounced Ki-ah), because I really like native american names. Her sire's name is D Bar J Obadiah, if that gives you any ideas for something go for it.

Anyway... give me some ideas guys... THANKS

Native American names huh what about Nazhoni (means beautiful in navajo) or Bazhoni (same thing) or maya, or Utah!! I hope that helps you.Good luck!!
