Im writing a book about zombies, so whats the largest breed of horse
Im pretty sure its the Clydesdale, but I need to be certain.
Also, whats the gyst of ferrying (or however its spelt)? I know you trim the hooves every six weeks, but is there more?
Im not thinking of getting a horse, so dont go 'oh, this horse isnt for beginners, and dont think about ferrying your own horse, you should see a professional', Im writing a book about zombie infestation and the people find a farm and find a couple of whatever the largest horse is and decide to use them.
Also, a general description of the horse would be nice, like average hands tall/long and average weight
Thanks
Answers:Belgian
The World's Largest Horse: Purebred Belgian stallion by the name of Brooklyn Supreme. He stood 19.2 hands (6'6") at his withers. He weighed over 3,200 pounds and is entered in the Guiness Book of World Records. He was foaled in 1928 and died in 1948.
i'm not sure on this but I think it's the asian horses I believe
I know a bit about ferrying. Sometimes you can reuse the shoes, sometimes they need to be replaced. They can also be lost if the ground is real muddy where the horses tread. They trim the hooves before putting new ones back on.
