In horse ads, why do I always see this2007-11-24 21:17:43

They always say the horse has "amp;amp;amp;" What does this mean?

Answers:

If you speaking of ads on Equine.com or other sites like that, I see it all the time, I have horses advertised on there and whenever I go in and change detail that phrase gets stuck in there then I have to go in and delete it. Sometimes it happens when you use the space bar or enter key in your ads. It has nothing to do with the horse ad itself and it does look strange. It has to do with the way the ad detail and key strokes are uploaded.

I believe it's a computer error for not understanding a type of punctuation.
it means it farted in mid-air while jumping
It means the horse was jumping hertles then it suddenly farted
I really don't think that has any significance-- It might be a script error =) Because i've never heard of that before!
I see this on Equine.com a lot, under the ad title where it is giving a short description of the horse. I believe "amp" is short for ampersand, which is the "&" symbol. I think people use the "&" to save space in their ad, and somehow the website doesn't handle that symbol correctly. I've always wondered why Equine.com doesn't fix that problem, since they are the biggest horse classifieds website on the net, and they surely have the means to make it better. But, hopefully that answers your question. It has nothing to do with the horse, just a typo that the website inserts instead of using the words "et cetera".
