In indoor or outdoor riding schools, who has right of way2007-11-24 21:17:44

And why would being left handed be an issue? You should work your horse equally on each rein.

well generally....

right gives way to left

but the rider with the lower gait SHOULD (out of politeness0 give way

if you are having a lesson, and the other is not, you have should have right of way

the person with the less experienced horse (a VERY young horse that has just started schooling) should have right of way, but it is not an actual rule, just general decency!

the more experienced rider should give way to a beginner, but you dont have to!

some of them are just common decency and sense, but others you are supposed to abide by!

hope this help!

Horses should pass left to left however horses of the faster pace has the right of way and also the right of way is given to any horse doing lateral work
