In oakland county, how much do beginner lessons cost at rochester hills stablesplease answer if you
i have taken lessons a while ago,at another stable. it got to expensive and im desperate to get back on horses. i would be taking the very beginning class.learning the basics, etc. i just wanted to know prices. thanks.
Answers:I am from the area, I used to ride out in Novi. Rochester Hills has a ton of hunter jumper trainers that are very good, but expensive. For lessons at a reputable stable (i'm assuming hunter/jumpers because that is what is huge out in that area) you should look to spend 30-50 dollars an hr. You should contact speficic stables that you are interested in and ask. It will also depend on if you want group or private lessons. Board out in that area is usually around 500+ a month, so lessons will also be expensive.
Contact Rochester Hills Stables and ask them.
Use a telephone.
Call the particular stable.Ask if they have a working student option to see if in exchange for some basic stable work, your lesson fees can come down.
Where theres a will, theres a way. Good luck.
I dont know how much they charge but the average rate that I have seen for a private lesson ranges between $28 and $35 for 1 hour. Go and wath the lessons first. See the interactions with the horses and people. I will say though that I would not refer anyone to First Impressions Farms in New Haven. I had a bad expierence with them but I do encourage people to make their own decisions.
