I'm thinking of joining 4-h. I love horses, and other animals. My Aunt has a horse I would be able to do stuff with. I want to know if 4-h is fun, why, and what you do. Thank you for your answers!!

i am in 4-H, but i show swine (pigs). for me, i love it!! i would not trade it for anything. i show across Washington state. One really cool part is that you get paid to show! so basically, when i go to state fair, i get paid to be out of school and have fun! Showing horses however, is a bit different. Because there are so many horse showmen, you only get to be there two or three days, where as i get to be there 5. you get to inform the public on your animal, agriculture today, and the 4-H/ FFA industry. seriously, you must JOIN!!!!!

I use to do 4-H for horses! It was fun, but, to be honest with you, I felt left out, because, everyone else had a horse, besides me. So, do you have a horse? If so, then 4-H would be GREAT for you! But, if you don't, that's fine too! They will talk about things comming up, like, how to raise money for this, and that. They will also talk about horse shows and anything that has to do with horses! I would recommend that you get a binder, if you do join a 4-H club, that way, you can keep all of the papers in the binder, and go back to them if you need to! Thanks, and good luck,
