Is bomb-proof a reptuable dealer2007-11-24 21:17:53
hi
I have fallen in love with
http://www.bomb-proof.co.uk/details.php?...
to me she is beautiful no matter how many people say she has bad conformation
I would just like some more info on bomb-proof, www.bomb-proof.co.uk
I do not want to get involved with a breeder that will sell you the pony that you want and when you get it home it is completly unlike what you were told
please help
thanks
Answers:i would never buy a horse from a dealer the picture looks nice but you don't know what you are getting,
stick to word of mouth in the horsey circle,at least you know what you are getting
I don't know this Bombproof site, but I personally would only buy from someone who was recommended by word of mouth or already known to me.
Buying a horse/pony to me is a very personal thing and not like buying say the family car.
If you do not feel right, do not buy!
I have never brought from them BUT I have enquired about several horses over the past couple of years and they are very helpful, in fact all horses were unsuitable for what I wanted and they advised me of this instead of trying to sell me an unsuitable horse. Also they will take the horse back if it is unsuitable once you get it home. Get in touch with them and speak to them for yourself then you will know :)
I haven't heard of bomb proof, but I suggest you get someone who knows a lot about it, and ask them a few questions. If you don't know of anyone like that, maybe you should call a vet and check out the horse before you buy it. And see if there are any things that you don't want. Just make sure the horse is healthy, and if the horse is fine, and there is nothing wrong, I would say go for it. ^-^
